This is a copy of the announcement that the Preziosa Young exhibition, organized by Le Arti Orafe in Florence, as been cancelled this year. CHE PALLE. It surprises me that their committee couldn’t find at least eight young artists with work worthy enough… not even eight! This is truly unfortunate because this is one of the few events of its kind, and very unique to Italy and the contemporary jewelry scene here… not to mention the personal heartache I have, having applied myself. I only waited a year for this, and have seen the last two installments personally. Maybe next year.
